Young Bulls

We are starting to get some photos of our young bulls up for viewing. Information about their pedigrees and ages will also be available shortly. Please refer to the young bulls page. These bulls range in age from 12 months to 2 years old. One of our greatest priorities is temperament. All animals retained as bulls are quiet and easy to handle. Please check back over the next couple of weeks as this information gets updated. Alternatively you can contact us directly if you would like more information. Thank you, Tony & Emma Olsen

IVF Calves by Rockley Miss Elly

A few of the 2011 IVF calves out of Rockley Miss Elly (polled) by KP Monty. These are the first of our IVF calves. (Please see Page "IVF calves" for extra photos).

At present we have 4 IVF bulls, 1 natural bull calf and 2 heifers by her. More IVF calves by other sires are due in 2012.

We are looking forward to watching these calves grow and plan to take a selection of them to Beef 2012 in Rockhampton.

Who We Are

We operate a Brahman Stud based just off the Bruce Highway 35 km North of Mackay Queensland, Australia.

Our stud has been established for approximately 4 years. Tony has been in the stud industry for over 30 years with his family operation "Neslo Brahmans" based in the Wandoan/Tarooma district.

When selecting cattle we focus heavily on the right temperament. We are aiming to continue introducing more polled genetics into our herd whilst maintaining softness, beef and bone. At present we are primarily focusing our attention on developing our red herd. However, as we find genetics that appeal to us we are using them to begin to expand our greys. We hope to take this further over the next few years.

In 2012 we will have cattle on display at Beef 2012in Rockhampton, Australia. We will be sharing Outdoor Site number 184 with Neslo Brahmans. This will be our first opportunity to put our cattle on public display. We look forward to receiving feedback on the cattle we have there, and to catching up with friends in the industry. Please drop by and visit us if you are in town for this event.

Our stud cattle are also available for inspection by appointment if you are passing through the Mackay district. Please contact us if you are coming through.

We are always happy to have guests and we appreciate any advance notice you can give us.  Tony is a partner at the accounting firm Flor Hanly & Associates and as such, needs to schedule to be able to be here to meet people.

For regular updates please also visit our facebook site is www.facebook.com/LindleyParkBrahmans
Many of our photos are replicated across the two sites but these sites offer different benefits when it comes to viewing photos and information.

If you use one of the forms on the right of this blog you can also be kept up to date as we improve this blog and as our stud operation grows.

Thank you, Tony & Emma Olsen
